The perfect, immaculate stone does not exist. And if there is no perfection, there is also no room for imperfection. Each stain, change in tone, or fossil (yes, many of the marks on the limestone are actually shells of animals that were deposited there millions of years ago) is a unique characteristic that gives your piece authenticity and value.
