Limestone Route

The ancient dimention stone quarries of Vila de Ançã served as inspiration for the creation of a pedestrian path in which it is possible to observe the contribution that limestone exploration had in the local economy and in the rural landscape of the municipality of Cantenhede. The route, with a total route of 9.7 km, is homologated with the reference “PR 3 CNT - Limestone Route”.
